I received a letter today from USCIS then they were asking me AGAIN for a biometric appointment BUT I had my biometric appointment last April 24 of this year and I got my EAD and AP now. Any advice please of what to do. Or they need this for my I-1485, Please any advice thanks!!!

09/28/08-green card received

1-751

07/02/10-mailed it 2day

07/06/10-they received my application forms

07/13/10-received notice receipt(gc extended for one year)

07/28/10-received biometric appointment

09/23/10 GC approved!!!

9/26/20 Gota pproval notice

10/01/10 GC receivedd

I forget the precise amount of time, but biometric data "expires" a few months after providing it.

Or, it could be a mistake. Easiest way to find out which is to INFOPASS and ask.

Or if the DO is far, call their helpline.

Thank you, I will let my husband to call them later and I do not know or it might be the reason why i still do not have my SSN its been almost two months now since I applied for a change name theys aid they are waiting for a record or verification from immigration I think...I hope nothing is wrong

I advise you to go ahead and go to your Biometrics Appt. it could be that the original was done too long ago and you need to do anothe rone.

It is best to follow the procedure and all appts. set for you.
