Hi everyone!

Ok, I have this problem. I think my passport is gone, really not 100% sure yet. I have misplaced it, and never remembered where on earth I put it :crying: . And my husband and I are filing AOS soon, it's been a long delay. My I-94 expired last February, but we were able to get marry within the 90day timeframe. Since my passport is nowhere to found, I'm thinking of filing a lost passport and get a replacement. I have a copy of the biographic page and the visa sticker on it though. But failed to make a copy of the page of my US entry stamp and the most important, the I-94 card.

I know the I-94 copy is important. But is it possible for me to get one again? if so, how? even though it has expired already? I read somewhere that someone lost her I-94, and she was advised to do is go back to her point of entry and requested for one, and she paid an amount for that. Or maybe I could file for an affidavit of lost for I-94 as well?

I don't want to send our AOS application without it,it's a risk of getting denied (maybe) . Any advice? Thank you for your replies.

There is probably no quick answer to this situation. I'd suggest applying quickly for the new passport, to start with, and maybe wait for it before you file the AOS.

Actually you have to file with USCIS for a replacement of I-94
