Waiting for Case Complete after RFE at NVC

My DS-230 was received by NVC on 7-21, and it was in the NVC system on 7-22, and today is 7-25, and I still waiting for the case complete message from NVC. how long does it take for NVC to process DS 230 RFE.

It can take the same amount of time it might take a regular case without RFEs. About 2 weeks or so, maybe less.

They usually process the RFE and reach a result after 6-8 weeks is what the rep says but it can be done faster. Check by next wednesday. Good luck.

the operator just give you the estimate time.

if you submit it take about 2 weeks not 2 months

so don't take operator word for it.

they try to work on a slow pace

it us weekend, and NVC does not work on sat/sun. I will call NVC on monday and ask them for update,

It took them about 8 days to complete my case after they received the RFE package from me.

Finally I got an update to the case, Called NVC on Tue 7-29-08,and they everything is OK and no action is needed from my side and they waiting for the case complete, which could happen anytime now and they should have an interview date for my wife at mumbai consulate by next week for a sept date.

Hi, we'd like to know if you finally got any news from them after your RFE being submitted ?

For our case, we never received any reply after I-129 RFE being submitted. After a long time following up the case via attorneys (unfortunately, I should say it was for months and years), we found out that our petition was sent back to USCIS. And we got that kind of information not via a formal notice of denial by mail, but via an immigration representative who answered it to the judge in a court where we sued for an answer from immigration for the deadly slow processing time of immigration paperworks on our K-1 case.

they sent a NAO2 after about 2 months from date of RFE submission.

- it took from april to july to get my nao2.

nao2 = case from USCIS-> NVC

NVC then sends a mail saying case is received from USCIS and now will goto your Consulate.
