Cover letter for I-131??

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what to write on a cover letter for a work authorization?? Please any suggestions would be really appreciated!!

OK. Your post title talks about the I-131, which is the Advance Parole (travel authorization) form. Employment Authorization is form I-765. I'm not aware of needing a cover letter for either application. However, if you're applying for both of them concurrently with your AOS application then you'll need a cover letter for that.

18th June 08 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago lockbox

3rd October 08 - Green card in hand!!

26th August 10 - Sent I-751 to VSC

31st August 10 - NOA1 from VSC

10th January 11 - I-751 approved!

14th January 11 - 10-year green card in hand!!

22nd April 23 - N400 submitted online; NOA available in USCIS account immediately
6th November 23 - Interview; approval same day
28th November 23 - Oath ceremony scheduled

are you talking about applying for EAD at a later date ? ie. you didnt file AOS, EAD or AP concurrently but you wanna file it at a later date ?!

I did that ... but I didnt even write a cover letter. I just attached a copy of my AOS NOA receipt, so that they knew I was doing the AOS and I had paid the fee !

and on I-765 form Q.15, I answered "filed AOS and pending". and I got the EAD without any problems. hope it helps.

AOS NOA: 1/26/2008

Biometrics: 3/4/2008

THANKS! I read somewhere that I needed a cover letter but I guess it was only if I was filling later. I did file concurrently eith I-485 so I guess i rally do not need a cover letter. Thanks for your help! :P
