hi! i had my interview last July 1, 2008 for my k3 visa. after the interview the Consular officer told me that my husband's income is not sufficient. but i also submitted a co sponsor (his mom). the CO said that that my husband have to support me on his own. i explained to her that my husband is currently working twice as his salary from last year. the CO said that she is not in the position to explain it. she said wait for my name to be called outside. so as i was waiting for my name to be called, i was thinking maybe my husband's W2 is not enough because he just worked for 4 months last 2007 (he just graduated last april 2007 in the Philippnes).and applied a new job this year after passing his licensure exams in US. so as my name was called, the girl handed me my proofs of genuine relationship(which they didn't even bothered to browse) and a pink paper for delbros, and a white paper with checklist that i should submit the bank statement and certification of present employment of my husband. i submitted the said documents with my passport last july 14.and i called the US embassy last july 22, the operator said that the US embassy receivd my document verification last friday (july18) and my papers are now with the consular officer for review.

my question is am i approved? has anyone of you experienced the same problem in regards with the additional papers to be submitted? how long was your visa delivered. imrealy sad with the way our papers was being processed. thanks... :(

i think the papers you need to submit should be notarized in the US, like his employment letter and pay stub. because i tried submitting the same documents during my interview and the CO said that its "only papers, i need it notarized". so dont waste time, have it notarized.

If you submitted additional evidence showing your husband can support you now you should be OK.

Weird the CO didn't accept co sponsor. It has been said before that USEM doesn't accept co sponsors and it's up to the CO whether they will or not but this is the first I've ever seen it put in affect.
