Thank you so much everyone! My husband was so excited when I gave him the news today. We still have a few months left in this deployment but what a happy reunion it will be when we can finally be together again (haven't seen each other since November 24th, 2007).

Thank you so much guys! Wow...5 months for an interview date in Jamaica? Hubby is sending an expedite request to NVC in hopes of getting an earlier appointment. I hear that things are crazy at the Embassy these days with no clear explanation as to why. I hope they really fix it soon. 5 months is way too long for people to be waiting.

What is an expedite? How do u call to get an interview? Does anyone know the best time to call NVC and actually speak with a human being?

Hey all...

After getting the expedite granted on friday. I called the CSC and the service rep told me that it was approved yesterday! I am so happy right now :dance:

Can't wait to tell hubby the great news. He's getting depressed with this deployment and this is just the thing to cheer him up. Don't give up guys....we'll all be with our loved ones soon.
