letting go of Fairy Tale

i just found this quote inspiring, and thought of sharing it with you.

As we mature, we all have to make this transition--

we all have to let go of some of our fairy tale

expectations for love, and learn to embrace

a kind of love that can survive a few hard winters.

Love that has been tested is far more awe-inspiring

than love that has never known anything but bliss.

Don't look for a partner with whom you have no problems,

but one with whom you are good at overcoming them.

Very nice sentiment.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

That is a nice sentiment. And fitting for many of us here, I think.

Nice Jomay.. There is no such thing "PERFECT PRINCE" in real life. Our world will only be perfect if we are going to accept imperfections.

My husband may not be perfect (like the fairy tale prince thing) :secret: but I love him and he loves me as much. Most of all, we are happy and contented just being together. :content:

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......
