Ok, here was my big mistake. I had my vaccinations administered long before I had my medical. As it turns out, the $213 medical fee includes the cost of the vaccination, whether you take it or not! *grumble*grumble*

Here's the advantage though. Some vaccinations take 3 shots to complete such as HPV and tetanus. You can get your two shots beforehand and just have the free (well, not free, since it's included in the medical fee) shot at SLEC. You are not required to complete the vaccination for the K3 to be approved. However, you need it for the adjustment of status when you get to the uS.

2008-07-11: Called US embassy to set up appointment

2008-07-14: paid DELBROS doc verification fee at Metrobank and immigrant visa fee at BPI

2008-07-17: MEDICAL; referred to psych evaluation due to scars

2008-07-24: PSYCH Evaluation

2008-07-28: Result ready, asked to come back anytime for immunization

2008-07-29: IMMUNIZATION

INTERVIEW: 2008-08-04; pink slip (delbros delivery receipt)

2008-08-06: Received text from Delbros that they will deliver my visa tomorrow or within 2 days

2008-08-08: Received my passport w/ visa and Visa packet. Hooray!

2008-09-04: Departure Date. port of entry: sunny Honolulu!

My I-129f was approved in 62 days from my filing date.

My I-130 was approved in 76 days from my filing date.

yeah and u better do it there or else u will be shouting more and more cuz of the huge neddles the USA use. :jest:

oh dear god, huge needles? is it some kind of a rite of passage? i can almost imagine the doctor with an evil smirk on his face wielding a gargantuan needle and ominously droning, "welcome to ameeerica!" heheh.when i was little the doctor used to ease my fear by saying, "don't worry. it's just like being bitten by an ant!" she forgot to mention that she was referring to a fire ant. so as you can see, i'm not a huge fan of injections. oh well. i'll survive. =)

as for the result, i'll be getting it next week. thanks bev. =)

Youre funny Daisy! You'll be fine... I'm also not a big fan of needles. My daughter will be undergoing the medical too and I need to pretend I'm not afraid! Hahahaha
