My wife has child, I130 Question

On the I-130 it asks "if seperate petitions will be submitted for other relatives, gives names of each and relationship"

I am petitioning my wife and her child, are these two seperate filings or is the child campanion as on fiance visa???

My husband had to submit separate I-130 applications for my daughter and I and therefore twice the fees throughout the entire process pretty much. Best wishes

Unlike the petitions leading to K visas....a child doesn't have derivative status, so seperate petitions will need to be filed.
