Hey guys.... I haven't been here so much the last few days because I'm working extra hours and the internet connection at work sucks right now. But I miss you all, even if you didn't notice I was gone :P

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you know of a good place where Dave can leave his car at (in NY) while we're in Europe. We'll be there for 2 weeks and he's driving to NY so we need to find a parking space somewhere.

Does anyone have some kind of experience with that or knows anything about it? Any kind of help will be appreciated! :thumbs:

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

where in new york ? most places have alternate side of the street parking but a few areas like mine in brooklyn don't so there's no problem about getting ticketed plus no paying for a garage....

3/28/06 - INTERVIEW SCHEDULED FOR 5/2/06 @ 10:30 A.M.

Medical scheduled for 4/10/06 - everything went great!!

5/2/06 - INTERVIEW - APPROVED !!

5/20/06 - Crash came home to NY for good!!

3/25/08 FedEx confirmed-package received

3/28/08 check cleared bank

3/31/08 received NOA1-extension (dated 3/25/08)!!

4/7/08 received NOA2-biometrics appt (dated 4/3/08)!

Yeah but we do want to pay. We're just looking for a place that will keep our car for 13 days and that isn't crazy expensive! :thumbs:

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

sorry i cant be of more help ... if you are thinking about the city then you should know it will probably be quite expensive depending on the area...

Long term parking is $15 a day at JFK. Safe. You take the Air Train to the terminals.

Why not just park at the airport( long term)?? It is your best bet, and it will probably be the cheapest.

Yeah we looked and it's $15 a day.... so a little over $200 for us. I think that is the best choice but I was wondering if anyone knew of a cheaper place somewhere. :thumbs:

Do you have a friend in Newark, Edison, etc. who would allow you to park in front of his/her home?
