Expedite Requests....how long?

Hey all,

My hubby filed for an expedite request along with the I-130 application we sent in last month and the expedite was granted on friday last. The case got a touch on sunday and nothing more since then.

For those who have gotten expedited before, how long does it usually take for them to review your case after they grant it? An inquiring mind would like to know. Thanks :thumbs:

08-05-2013: NOA1 received (Priority date: 07-24-13, Check cashed: 07-29-13)

on the USCIS site...when you login to your case does it say case approved and notice sent? if it's approved then nvc should get it in a week or so..

No....they approved the expedite request. They haven't approved the petition as yet. I am trying to find out how long after the expedite request is approved they usually review the case attatched to the request.

Hey all,

My hubby filed for an expedite request along with the I-130 application we sent in last month and the expedite was granted on friday last. The case got a touch on sunday and nothing more since then.

I got expedite approval via email on 07/08/08

My 13-months son' s case was approved immediately a day after that 07/09/08

My wife case was an RFE. The evidence was sent and received on 07/21/08

I noticed that my wife case was touched repeatedly each day 21, 22,23, 24 (today). No approval yet.

Think my case is complicated since I had a previous marriage

I guess it might take a week or two. Consider yourself is lucky one at this point compared with those who are still waiting endlessly.

It just makes me wonder a bit because we got so many touches last week and now for the past 4 days, nada...

We received a RFE after the expedite request got approved, after my husband turned in the RFE and it got into the system, the I-130 was approved the following day.

I think I might call the RFE line tomorrow just so I can speak with a live person. Tried calling today and as usual the system is down. The hotline is no help at all. I will also try the the military helpline as well.

Tomorrow makes one week since expedite granted.
