Hello all,

I received my packet 3 from Montreal some time this morning or yesterday. I never bothered to call the NVC but my approval was April 24th so it made it to my door three weeks later.

So I went into the local RCMP detachment in St-Jerome today and I got my police certificate. It took a big 10 mins and 25 $CAD.

So now I'm just going to check everything off the checklist, fill out the DS-230 and mail those back tomorrow even though I'm still missing the Affidavit of Support. It's safe to say I still have at least 2-3 months to get that from my fiancée.

alp,

Nic

Congratulations Nic

I got mine on Monday.. I had all the forms ready but copied them to the embassy forms because everyone says they are picky.

Have appointment for medical on June 5th

Called local police for police check and they asked my name and birth date and told me to drop by with $20. today to pick it up. Easy..

Thank God I found this web site to be so prepared.

Hi Nic

As I recall I sent what they asked for immediately which I think was only the DS-230. When I booked the medical, they asked if I had my interview date letter and I didn't. But that was OK. I only needed my case number. I think it's safe to say she has time to get the Affidavit of Support to you, but I know for my piece of mind, we got it done as soon as possible, so by the time I did get Package 4 (interview date) everything was ready to go

Take care :)

Hi Jersey Girl, my fiancee resides in Florida. We met in college down there. I'm actually here right now visiting for the long victoria day weekend. The weather is really nice and I got sunburn. hehe. Unfornately I have to fly back this evening. It feels like home here and I can't to be back for good.
