I have been hearing mixed reviews about the weather in Marrakech around Nov- Dec time.

I heard it was freeezing, but when my eldest son went with Rachid Dec. 06,I saw

people in the background pics walking around in t-shirts.

I heard it gets into the 60's -70's and then gets really cold at night because of the usual no heat thing.

Then I heard its not so bad.

Which is it!? When is the rainy season?! Is it better in Nov. or Dec? I don't want

little wooter to get sick.

anyone traveled around that time with some accurate weather insight?

Also any tips on taking an international flight with a one year old? is it a nail biting experience? If he is still

teething I do believe in giving him some Motrin to justify knocking him out...just being honest ;)

I've gone twice around Thanksgiving and yes it can be freezing at night. During the day is cool, but not bad. I remember having on a sweater, a jacket, scarf and gloves, especially at night. It really is not much different than the weather here in Atlanta. Simo has had no problems with the weather here, except for the humidity and pollen. I think he should be ok. Just pack clothes like you would wear here in the winter.

Let me know how the trip goes, we are planning to go in March. Just before Ayman turns a year old.

See that is when I realllly wanted to go...not too hot, not too cold...

But he wanted to spend one of the Eids with his family. I wanted the weather warmer so we can travel,

I wanted to eat fresh fish in Essouria, and go to the waterfalls eating kabobs....

Now last year in Atlanta it was still in the 70's in Nov- Dec. wasnt it?

I had a big goose down bubble jacket on Maliq when he went but still I saw the t-shirt clan

in the back of the pics...

So u would definitely advise gloves and a hat :(, ...sounds like its a lil cooler than I would like.

Yeah, it's mainly at night you have to worry about. The later it got, the colder it got. I would pack gloves and a hat just in case. You also have to remember the little people get colder faster. You can pack a few lighter shirts and pants, but just make sure to have sweaters, a jacket, hat and gloves just in case.

try weather.com.. they may have information about the weather there.. i haven't a clue about travel with a young child.. when i went to cairo i did hear this one child crying a lot.. no problem with the motrin.. you do want your child to be comfortable and not suffer.. maybe talk to their doctor to maybe get some ideas.. they may know.. try the web too.. i hope to be able to experience that one day..

Passage Revelation 19:11:

11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

"satan is real and he's playing for keeps
God is realer and we are His sheep
which side are you on, CHOOSE, start moving your feet
choose JESUS and have ETERNAL PEACE" by GOD to me on 9/26/10 about 2am
Thank you Jesus!!!!

Travel in December in Marrakech is hard to predict--relatively warm during the day (50's-60's) but CHILLY at night (not freezing, but light jacket and gloves weather). I would bring lots of layers, especially for the little one!

For me the hardest part was being indoors: the fact that most houses do not have heat! It felt like the only way to warm up was under a big blanket  .

By the way, we did go to Essouira around Christmas time--it was also chilly, but I loved it! The best seafood I have ever eaten!

I asked Simo about the weather in November--he said it was "perfect."

Ah, I miss Morocco! With a baby on the way it will probably be a while, but we would love to go soon! Maybe next year...

Have fun!
