Sept 18, 2009: Received 10-year Green Card!

July 15, 2010: Sent N-400 packet
July 23, 2010: NOA Notice date
Oct 15, 2010: Citizenship Interview - Passed!
Nov 15, 2010: Oath Ceremony in Fresno, CA
Nov 24, 2010: Did SSN and Applied for Passport

Hi guys,

I was wondering if the letter of Employment for AOS needs to be notorized?

Please let me know, as my employer is asking me if they should notorize it before giving it to me.

It doesn't have to as long as it's printed on the company's letterhead and signed by whoever needs to sign it. :thumbs:

The Letter of employment should simply state the following on Company letterhead sign by your immediate supervisor or manager.

Your name

Your Job Title

How many hours / week you work

What you earn Hourly or salary

The date employment began.

Signed by your manager on Company Letterhead

no Notary needed.
