You have had a name hit in one of the data bases. You are in process called a Chamelon Check. Hopefully, their calling you in advance of your interview will mean the prints will be cleared by the time of your interview. If they are still in processing at the time of the interview they can issue you a 221g for administrative review. Means you are not denied and that they will contact you once all checks are completed. Good luck.

That name showing up in name check is that same one where common names end up being double and triple checked?

Luis&Laura there are numerous name checks and once you submit an application both parties are scrutinized. So it could be any of the data bases had a hit on the name. Once you have a hit it must be overcome.
