How long it takes to have ASC appointment ("biometrics") letter after NOA 1

I filed I 751 at WAC on June 30, got my 1 year extention NOA on July 11, I still didn't get my ASC appointment ("biometrics") letter yet, would u please tell me how long it will take to get ASC appointment ("biometrics") letter after u get NOA 1 and How much time they will give us to have biometrics after u get ASC notice. Actually I am planning to go out of town in July 1st and 2nd week. If i get my notice next week it will be for August 1st or 2nd week, actually I live in Indianaplis IN anybody have any idea, please give me your input. In case, If i didn't get my ASC notice by next month, what should i do should i go for Infopass appointment or any other option there.

It is not July 1st and second week it is August 1st and 2nd week...please read with correction please....

Judging from posted timelines, biometrics appointments are typically about a month to two months after filing. The second letter should arrive about 1-3 weeks after your NOA1. You should hopefully get it sometime this week or next.

Hi, We seem to have a similar time frame. I received my NOA 1 on July 7 but it had the date of June 30. I am also still waiting for my biometrics appointment. Hopefully it will come soon. We're going on vacation from August 4 to 7, and I am hoping it's not scheduled for that time. Let me know if you get the biometrics appointment and I'll do the same.

Indeed, we are in the same time frame, no luck today, I didn't get my biometric appoinment on today's mail. I still din't booked my air ticket yet for August 6th. I don't know how long i have to wait for biomateric after i got my appoinment letter. do anyone get any idea please post.

Yep...no letter for me either last night. From what I've heard, the appointment is usually scheduled for a week or two after you receive the letter. I think it depends on how busy the local center is. Some people told me that you can always ask them to reschedule it if it conflicts with your appointment time. But you have to write to them etc. And some people said you could walk in and try to see if they'll take you after the date. It all just makes it so complicated and I'd hate to not go when they give you the appointment time. Good luck to us all! What service center is your application at?

Mine is at CSC, I have to go to district office for finger print after schadule appoinment, district offices are always busy, they might not do walk in...i will wait this week and book my air ticket maybe next week my god price will go up!!!!!.
