Yes, Stay strong. Take it your anger out by typing, writting your thoughts, bike riding or even punching a punching bag!! That helps! Just try not to take it out on the CSC people...Even though you are right that they are very frustrating. I am very sorry that you have been waiting for so long. I don't get that whole security check thing. It's very scary to me. The worst part is that number only gives you general answers. I'm so sorry :( *HUGS FOR COMFORT*

Lots of good thoughts your way...I can't begin to imagine the frustration...

Have you (or your partner if they're the USC...forgive me!) tried contacting their Congressman? I'd say your case would be justified by that!

Sara, I can't describe how much I feel for you and Perviz! Every time I go to VJ, I hope to see the good news from you guys!

Have you tried to make appointment for infopass? I've heard a lot of times that it's useless to talk to those operators at USCIS cause they are like robots - just tell you what they see in the database (and this is often very general and sometimes not correct information). I don't know how far from California you live but I would go to CSC (at Laguna Naguel) and try to talk to the immigration officer who can shed some light on your case... Try to be more persistent :bonk: (but polite at the same time... God, I know it is soooo difficult to control yourself in this situation!) - it is NOT normal what they are doing to you, and they know that!

I pray for you and hope that your situation will be resolved very very soon!

Did anybody try to go to CSC and talk with an immigration officer b4? I'm just curious if this is possible.

I don't know about that but not even sending the adjuticators chocolates did any good.

Sara, I don't even have words to help soothe your spirit anymore. :( One thing I did think of the other day that i'm not sure you've done yet is contact the ombudsman for help. I remember a few couples getting help last year from him. Worth a shot if you haven't contacted him yet.

Until then, you know where to find me if and when you need an ear. Stay strong darling! We're all on your side. hug9.gif

Hang in there. Praying your time will soon come.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

You just wonder what the procedure is with security checks. With technology at It's highest, you would think it would be done with a touch of a button and the information there for them straight away.

i want to thank everyone for their support i know i sounded like i had been rude to them yesterday but really i was not ............yeah im also wondering about why they are having such a problem and why they keep sending us back to security for no reason........perviz and i have never done anything against the law.........no speeding tickets..(neither of us drive)......no late taxes nothing absolutely nothing so ur right a touch of a button would tell them anything they wanted to know about us in way less than five minutes........that is one reason why i truly think they have lost our file......and with them saying its pending security clearance...(for the third time best i can tell).....that leaves us no way to fight it and find out anything cuz they told me straight up one time ur in security nobody can help u now until u clear it..........sucks no legal recourse...and their own words to our congressman that did the inquiry a few months ago it can take YEARS to clear security....if they truly lost the file no way to prove that either unless somebody says yep we lost it  and thats never gonna happen

Oregon congress

Have you tried all of these people? I know there's nothing a congressman can do about security checks, but I swear when my congressman contacted USCIS somebody there realized the checks were finally done on our case and sent the noa2 that day (they sent the canned response to our congressman, but the same day sent us the noa2 email). If you explain to them that this is the 3rd (?) time your file has been put into security checks and neither of you have criminal records and ask if they can at least get an explanation for you.

This is seriously nuts to be waiting so long at this stage. I too check on you guys every time I open up VJ. My thoughts and prayers are with you both that it gets approved SOON.
