I think she's saying that: if as you maintain - Australia has a world-class education system, you aren't a very good example of what it produces. If your ability to sustain a coherent argument is any indication...

Do you seriously think I am going to sit here and waste my time debating with a clown like PH or yourself?

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Edit: Last time I checked Australian schools outperformed UK schools. The study was posted here on VJ actually.

Last time I checked individual academic performance has everything to do with individual merit, and nothing to do with relative standards of how one education system compares with another.

As he either has ADD or has no critical reasoning skills, this argument will, like all the rest, be lost on BY.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Don't look now, but you've been doing it for months

Actually it has a lot to do with it because you are jumping onto your usual crusader bandwagon yet ignoring the fact that she initially endangered her babies life by driving carelessly. I am sure is she was in wreck and killed the baby then you would have nothing to say about it.

PS I also raised the question that are these people's deaths, at the hand of I F U K I N L L E G A L S less relevant than some ugly troll having her ankle handcuffed. Yes or No??

There's a bigger issue - absolutely, but you appear to be arguing that a woman going into labour deserves to be ankle-chained to a bed as some sort of punishment for killings and road fatalities caused by other people. As to the "ugly troll" comment - I'm rather surprised that you take umbridge at the merest hint of prejudice on your part - when you make comments like this.

No. I am arguing that she has no leg to stand on. Especially considering she was here illegally and had been deported before. What nerve to then complain about her treatment.

What they should have done is taken her to the border immediately and let the Mexican government deal with their citizen.

*sigh* Her legal/deportation status is separate from her treatment by law enforcement. You simply can't justify it on that basis.

And they can't take her to the border immediately. That's not how it works.

*shrugs* If the past is anything to go by, then yes, I think you will.

Incidentally, drinking to excess and then driving is celebrated in Hispanic cultures rather than condemned.

WHAT?

I refuse, as a "hispanic", to take ownership of that statement. God I hate absurd generalizations.

There are quite a few studies out there on it.

Seriously its like the worst, most shoddy cowboy builder you can imagine defending the piss-poor quality of his work - on the basis that Australian builders are better.

So what right does she have to sue then. If she hates how she was treated so much why not pack up and leave?

That is quite comical coming from you. Then again what would an engineer know about it right. Maybe you guys can teach me. Considering your posts are explained so thoroughly PH.

I may have misread the article - but I don't think the story indicated that she was suing.

I would imagine that she doesn't "pack up and leave" because whatever you or I think about it - half her family is in the US.

Could BY get any more illogical? The suspsense is palpable...

Which part?

You have a knack for throwing out such statements. I have noticed you do so in quite a few threads with anyone you disagree with.
