February Filers for VSC

I spoke with someone from VSC. She told me they are currently processing Sept'07 I 130 petitions. Its going to take approx 4 months for January I-130 applicants to get approval. However she mentioned if you filed K3 it will be quicker may be in a month or so.

I wonder if you can file k3 just to get the petition approve quicker then cancel the k3 route once it reaches the embassy.

Good luck also. It is nice to know thet Vermont is working on some december's because I sent mine in Jan. and my case number was assigned in 2/13/08. However I have only been touch once and that was on 2/24/08.

well i got noa1 in feb... hubby called vsc today and was told they might have it out in 3 months! but thats still in october! that means its going to be 8 months for my petition sitting there until they approve it! do i have a choice? i guess not, all i can do now is wait and cry and wait and cry...

We are in the same boat of waiting and waiting, my husband and i are so frustrated now, living without each other is tearing us apart, it is agonizing, its like killing us softly, I don't see the logic why a married couple takes longer to be approve than just a fiancee, We filed our 1-130 Feb 19 & 1-129F March 25 til now we are still waiting for approval. I hope theres miracle happen to us this coming month of Aug.

VSC received my I-130 on 1/23/08

NOA 1 assigned on 2/13/08

Touched 2/24/08

Nothing since then and it sucks. But, I just pray to God that soon we all will start gettting approvals. But VSC is teaching all patients wither we like it or not. But, once you get done with VSC we have to deal with the NVC next. It is short but adds more time. Once they get done with you there you then can think about an interview. I don't think I will have my wife here until like Febuary and that sucks. My son's wife will have already had her baby and our anniversary will have already past.

My wife is from China too. Maybe they will have their interviews together.

I sent my I130 application in December, receiver NOA1 on February.

we are already in July and my status is still pending.....

anybody in similar situation?

what can I do to make the NOA2 happen???

I sent my I-130 on Jan. 10, NOA-1 notice date 2/08, no action whatsoever since it was put online 2/24.

Count your blessings, you're much luckier than us poor saps stuck at VSC - if I had only filed 10 days earlier........
