Oh Dear. My appointment for biometric AOS and EAD was for 9th May. I was in Key West so rescheduled. I made an infopass appointment to get an update as no letter to reschedule has been received. I have been told that I will go to the back of the line as if starting from the beginning again. They will write to me with a new appointment time within the next 2 months. I am devastated. How crazy was I. I did not want to loose out on a $1k holiday already paid for. and now I have lost out on possibility of several months and alot more that the holiday in wages during the void period.

Question: Has anybody had any experience with this? I asked about the 90 day period and was told it no longer counted? Day 90 for me is on 31st of May.

Anybody thinking of rescheduling please beware. I am going to try and get an infopass on day 91 anyway to see if I can be processed but not holding out much hope right now.

Any advice would be appreciated - other than the obvious don't reschedule!

Sorry to hear you have missed out on so much.... When I was at my local office for my last infopass appointment I got talking to a man from England (as one does when you are waiting) and he did exactly the same as you have done regarding biometrics... he was there to ask for EAD as it was day 93 from NOA.... sad to say the outcome of his visit was that as it was his fault that he did not attend on the date given there was nothing they could do about a temp EAD and he would have to wait for his rescheduled appointment....

I hope you have better luck with your office...

Kezzie
