Interview documents... Important?

Seems like I've read alot that people will bring their documents to the interview but rarely it seems like they are needed. I'm bringing everything I have just in case but Im curious as to how it would affect my wife's interview if I didnt.

Plus, I'm not sure if I have another copy of my birth cert. I think I sent it with my I-130.

Well, actually... My birth cert would be more for us getting a passport for my new born and not so much for my wife's interview.

Bring all you have. We took everything but the kitchen sink - including copies of all the documents we had submitted already. They didn't ask for anything, but it felt like a safety cushion.

We did the same thing but all they asked was for evidence of our relationship. It still felt great knowing we were overprepared.

You can bring all the documents that you sent to NVC so while waiting for the interview you can review them.

I am bringing copies of everything we submitted plus some photos, emails, copies of my cell phone bill with our calls to each other highlighted, and a letter from our bank stating that we have joint accounts. I am bringing five to six pieces of each of these spanning our relationship. We may not need them but as others have said, better safe then sorry.

Also when is your interview date? I would like to update it in the Dec. I-130 filers thread.
