I possibly have the opportunity to travel to Paris, France in September/October. I would love for my fiancee, Glyn, to travel with me.

Here is the situation:

  • I would be traveling for work. I am a US citizen.
  • She is here on a K-1 visa. She holds a Philippine passport.
  • We are getting married in the US on August 16.
  • She will probably not have a conditional green card at the time of travel.

I am assuming that we need to apply for a Advance Parole for her to travel with me.

What about her entering France? I assume she needs a visa. How would this work if she is traveling with me?

Any thoughts or experience with this?

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. How will it be different for her entering France being my wife coming from the US versus her coming from the Philippines?

I think she will need to take your marriage certificate to back up the AP. Also I believe her ticket must be in the name on her passport. Sort of confuses things coming back and entering France.
