Hi Vj's ,

some one had his interview today in morning at consulate he said it was all fine and they told him they will call in like one week or so ....but the odd thing is that the CO kept the copy of I-129 his fiance sent him i had no idea they keep it or they even ask to view it because the orginal petition was sent from USCIS to Consulate already ,i think that was first time i heared this ...i am now nervous they may keep mine as well cuz i only have copie sof No1 and NO2 and NVC letter ...so anyone have ever heared of such a story like this Consulate keeps copies of petitions or they even look at it .

A few in Jamaica have been asked for their copy at interview. It's a hit or miss kind of thing.

My fiancé did take a copy of the I-129F, the G-325A, the NOA1, and the NOA2 to his interview, basically copies of all paperwork we'd submitted and received. I kept another copy of everything for our own records. The consulate never asked for any of this, but as I recall, that's what the VJ guides recommended back then. I haven't read the guides lately to see if that has changed. The consulate should already have all of those forms, but paperwork has been misplaced from time to time, and it doesn't hurt to be able to look at your own copy if they discuss a detail on theirs during the interview. As the saying goes, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I'm the USC.

What is it you are concerned with? Them taking a copy? You can make more copies before you go to the interview.
