Id like to know once my wife gets the AP does she need a visa from her own country to visit another Country? For example USCs dont need a visa to visit some other countries, but some South American Countries need a visa to visit say France etc...So can she visit any countries I can w/o the visa or what?We are still waiting for AOS to be looked at but it is already sent.

The need for a visa is still the same as long as she is traveling on a passport from her home country... the only exception is when she has her greencard some but not all countries have diffrent rules for LPR of the US... her AP is only to get her back into the US and has no baring on the need for a visa to visit other countries...

She should be able to get a Visa for the Country concerned from their Consulate in the US.

Usually Consulates accept applications from those residing in the USA as well as those who are Citizens of that USA.

You would need to check the site of the Consulate to find out their specific procedures.

Mexico, Canada and I think Switzerland?, maybe a couple more, will take into account US LPR status rather than own nationality.

Rainman,

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "a visa from her own country to visit another Country?"

A country cannot issue visas to visit other countries, a country can only issue visas to visit itself.
