Stuck at the NVC... still

Well it's been about 6 weeks since our case (k-1) got to the NVC and it is still in "Administrative Review". Based on on the expanded timeline it appears that most people waiting for visas from China are in the same boat. I am calling regularly, but I think it's just to keep myself busy. Anyway, maybe the procedures are changing, so if others are having this problem... you're not alone.

I'm not sure how long the NVC usually stays with a process but I hope yours will be fowarded to the Consulate soon. Good luck. :)

  • 1 month later...

ours has been sitting on some shelf at the NVC since late march...and just like you say, all we hear when we call/write them is 'under administrative review'...'no further information'...

i know it is little help, but please know that you guys are not alone - there's many of us there, in the same boat with you...let's just keep hoping or the best

seems im with u guys too. when we origionally filed they stated 30-90 days on the receit form, which i was ok with. the 90 days are now over and they are estimating another 60-90 days they said...ugh! the frustrating part is then we still will have to wait for the interview, so add another 60-90 onto that . i hope all ur luck is better than mine.
