Hi all:

My wife came with K3 visa and had applied for AOS (I-485) 2 years and 1 month ago. Still waiting after finishing interview 11 months ago, resubmitting medical exam 10 months ago and resubmitting finger print 6 months ago. At the interview last August, they asked for new medical. We did that and submitted in last September. Then in January of this year, they said fingerprint has expired so we submitted that again in January of this year. Still no approval. This happened because they touched the file after 4 MONTHS!!!! of submitting the medical exam and by that time fingerprint had expired. Now I am afraid that after August, they will say that her Interview has EXPIRED!!! because it is 1 year old. Does interview ever expire???

My questions and I really want to know -

1) How long is finger print valid??

2) How long is medical examination valid??

3) How long is Interview valid??? (Everything was fine in the interview except they needed new Medical exam)

If anyone knows the answers to these 3 questions, please let me know. We would appreciate it very much. Every time we make infopass, that was a joke. They keep saying the same thing over and over again. They say "the file is in line for final review. When the time comes according to its serial they will make the final decision." It is so frustrating. Please help. Thanks a lot. :crying::crying:

You might want to ask your congressman or senator for help in this situation. I heard that medical might be valid from 3-6 months. Once you contact your congressman or senator you will get an answer soon. Good luck.
