8 tylenol and my head is still pounding....

My grammy will be taken off life support in the next few hours, they are waiting for all of her 10 kids to get there so they can be by her side and she dances away to god. Im scared what the next few days hold..Im scared my grandpa is not gonna make it..I sit back and think bout how every family party he tells all the grandkids the story how he met my gran back in the 50's...How he picked her up on his bicycle and took her mini golfing..I remember last sunday my gram telling me she cant wait to see zaid grow up, and how her and sofyan were gonna make cabbage rolls becuz she loved them so much...I didnt imagine that would be the last time I would hear her voice..she was truly blessed...36 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Zaid was the last great grandchild she had..

aww I'm so sorry to hear this. May she be at peace and I will make a prayer for you and your family and esp your grandfather too.

She will get to see Zaid grow up dont worry about that. She will be watching down on him from heaven.....

did i read it right on that website link? that vinegar goes thru the same beginning process as alcohol?! :o

lol, I read something like that too. I just found this at the bottom of the page:

<LI>According to legend, in France during the Black Plague, four thieves were able to rob houses of plague victims without being infected themselves. When finally caught, the Judge offered to grant the men their freedom, on the condition that they revealed how they managed to stay healthy. They claimed that a medicine woman sold them a potion, made of garlic soaked in soured red wine. Variants of the recipe, called Four Thieves Vinegar, have been passed down for hundreds of years and are a staple of New Orleans Hoodoo practices.

Kelly....I read your post about your gram. I'm sorry to hear about her situation, very sorry for you and your family. We lost my grandma June 9th of this year. She found out two months to the day she had cancer and in two months it spread to every organ from her chest to her waist but a stroke is what actually made her go down the fastest. Last night we had our first get together with the entire family for my father's retirement. I will tell you it was a bittersweet moment. Dad retired at 51 years of age and then looking around thinking three months ago my grandma was a huge part of my husbands welcome home party. Just the little things last night I missed about her and I am sure you will your grandma also. I remember wanting to call her phone number just to hear her voice on the answering machine just one more time. You will miss her and for your grandpa I am sure his world will be turned upside down for quite some time. It sounds like you love her very much and that she has a very large wonderful family that will be there to support each other. God bless you and your family.

Also, Ayman and I took Malek to the doctor on Friday. He will be 5 months old 7/29 so we were a little behind on his check up. He weighed 15 lbs 11 oz and was 28 inches long, basically with his height he was off the chart! So he's a skinny long little loveable guy.

I hope everybody else has a wonderful Sunday evening and goodnight!

Kelly-- sorry to hear this. She sounds like a wonderful woman.

Tamara-- Red Wine vinegar comes from red wine. vinegar is just spoiled alcohol that is distilled again. So apple cider vinegar is spoiled apple cider (which is an alcohol, not the non-alcoholic kind you find in the grocery store), red/white wine vinegars are spoiled red or white wine, and then the others are first alcohol, then allowed to spoil and then distilled out. Thus the stories in teh Bible involving spoiled wine and vinegar :) That is also part of the saying of how wine has "corked" which is where it is spoiling and turning to vinegar and is really gross at that point.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.
