Good morning S and S, julianna ,Olivia and everyone

have a nice blessed Sunday all (F)

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

Olivia-- why'd you leave your stuff?

Wow now that is a story.

My engagement to Jason had unraveled and I was grieving for several months. I had a Norweigan friend, Richard, in Scotland who said if I was looking to get out of the country for awhile I could house sit for him while he went to Zimbabwa on assignment for 6 months. He was a computer programmer and he was being offered better money to work there. He was also the father to three kids of my college friend, Ingvill, also a Norwegian.

When I arrived in London we traveled around for a bit seeing sites until we drove to Scotland. Shortly afterwards he said the job in Zimbabwa was too dangerous because of the civil war and he decided to stay so there was no house sitting job but that he'd like for me to stay as long as I liked. He had other intentions of making me a live in girl friend or something.

We went to Norway for a month to visit with Ingvill and the kids, ThorDaniel (their oldest), and Bror & Brage (the twins). We even meet Richards family for their Easter and saw the family farm. I knew Ingvill way better than Richard and at the time she was telling me all these awful things he did to her while they were together and I was uncomfortable with the situation from both sides feeling in the middle. I had left my stuff in Scotland but made the decision to go back to the US per Ingvill's persuasion. My departure was from Kristiansand. So I had to sacrifice my stuff that was left in Scotland because to travel back there from Norway roundtrip on short notice was as expensive as traveling back to the US.

Richard said he sent my stuff but it never arrived. I didn't know where it was and eventually I gave up waiting for it. Maybe someday it will be like those lost items that shows up at your door 40 years later.

morning tenderheart.

Ohhh! that's kind of rotten of him though to have those intentions when you didn't. I think you did the right thing. You can always get more shoes :) Where in Scotland did you live?

Good morning tenderheart.

Sorry to hear about your experience Olivia, that really sucks, though leaving was probably for the best from the sounds of it.

Hi Tenderheart!

In Aberdour in the Fife Kingdom which is this little village of about 500 ppl. It's a 20 minute rail ride from Edinburgh, Scotland where the castle is and the Scotland crown jewels. It was a fairy tale land there. We had a flat on the 4th hole of a golf course over looking the North Sea. It was lovely.

Sometimes I wonder if I had made a different choice to go back to Scotland how things would work out. I wanted to attend the film school at Napier University there in Scotland. At the same time I was still processing the break up and an emotional mess and not being in the middle of Richard and Ingvill's situation was an easy choice.

Olivia-- why'd you leave your stuff?

S and S-- my cats at home wre like that because my mom fed them in the morning. When I got my own cats, I decided to have a gravity feeder, feed only dry, and not have a feeding time. Mine have better teeth for it and none of that waking me up stuff!!

My cat hates dry food. I put it out anyway and when she gets desperate she will eat a couple bites to get by, but thats it. She is still young so I want to slowly cut back on her canned food as she gets closer to a year old. We will see how that goes, lol. As it is, she is eyeing my chicken wings that I'm eating now.

As for her waking me up, I just look at it as practice for when I have kids. Only difference is I can't "throw" the kids off the bed. Kids tend to not land on their feet so easily, lol. Another thing she does is wake me up in the middle of the night meowing non stop, then she walks on me and drops her favorite toy on me and actually expects to play fetch in the middle of the night! I try to get her back by waking her up all the time when she takes a nap.

Wow, at least you got to see some nice things when you went. I want to go there someday. I just have to convince my husband of that, lol. I also used to have this dream of getting married at gretna green. Maybe we could renew our vows there.

I've lost most of the pix from that trip but here is some that are left of Scone Palace where the kings of Scotland were sometimes crowned on Boot Hill. In one pix I'm actually sitting on the seat (or key as they call it) where the kings would sit during the crowning.

My family is from that area. think my favorite town in Scotland had to be North Berwick. I loved it.

Her age explains most things, actually. Cats before two are very exhausting lol. Cats by about age 7 are must better :)

Yeah, my great grandfather moved out back in 1870 (we don't reproduce that often lol) as a teen due to political familial disagreements and went to Canada. Then he decided to blow CN and move to Denver. Took his money and just painted china and eventually opened up a store.
