we live in a land where ignorance is prolific. unlike many on this subject my opinions and beliefs are malleable, i actually started out where most of you are.

as for this thread ... i agree with everything that steven has already brought up and there are more than enough points/questions for people to ponder, research and refute. but as with every discussion on this subject ... it is easier to get personal and emotional rather than confront the argument.

it's really not worth debating here with people who are not interested in what's happening in our country. B)

Agreed.

And again, I can see a case of "let it happen" being clueless of the full scale of what was coming our way. Clueless is the most consistent characteristic of this administration as it stands. Not the kind it takes to pull of a mysterious conspiracy involving tens of thousands of individuals.

9/11 has clearly informed government policy on a lot of issues. Its clearly whole different ball game to say that 9/11 was engineered somehow to bring about what happened subsequently.

Sounds like the plot of a Bond movie to me.

This video at least the one I have seen so far that was supposedly released today--what does it show? It shows a blur hitting the pentagon. It might be a missle it might be an airplane--I can't tell--so the video does not really put to an end the GimmyGirrl-theorrorist.

I just find this whole thread very very sad.

I honestly wonder sometimes whether some people were watching the same horrific things happen and saw the utter shock from everyone, that I saw on that terrible day. It will be forever burned in my memory bank.

The only forward planning and conspiring involved in 9/11 was that done by Bin Laden and his cronies.

It is pointless asking the conspiracy theory supporters to let this terrible day & the victims rest in peace. They are probably the same people that believe Roswell and that aliens live amongst us/control us!

Do you not see that the attacks have been used to pass legislation and used to attack countries and used to demonise people?

I am not really keen on going around in circles but the events of 9/11 will be dropped when the truth can come out. It might seem crazy to some of you that a government(although it was more likely secret services who planned it and that would not require thousands of people) could pull this off undetected but is it not a little bit harder to believe that 19 guys from the middle east managed to get knives onto 4 planes and even get to the pilot let alone take out the ex military pilots? Then pull off extreme flying stunts to hit their targets without NORAD even coming close?

The pilot that supposedly crashed that jet into the Pentagon was said to be a ####### pilot yet he pulled off a pretty amazing stunt to get the plane to hit the newly refurbished side of the Pentagon. Why did they attack the WTC? Why did they get close to the Pentagon? I mean people who know about NORAD should know that NORAD would not let a plane get that far off course let alone that close to the Pentagon.

Anyway i am sure you will all still insult me with name calling and claiming i am some crazy person but i am just a person who cares.

Yes it might. Because as of this day, not much has been kept inside this government. There's always ####### leaking out. Left, right and center. But this stuff, they manage to keep contained. Bit of a stretch, isn't it? Unless all involved have been locked up in area 51...

Well i see your point. Of course the government are made to look bad and for good reason. The fact is though that this has not been kept a secret. Plenty of official people have come out. The plan is always there for when things do come out. The campaign against the message and the messengers. When you think about it most people involved in the campaign against the "conspiracy nuts" don`t even need to be involved int he initial plot they just have to believe the official story. They accept that cave dwelling evil doers did it and not well organised well funded proven to be evil and corrupt groups like the CIA are involved. Not to say it was the CIA but it was obviously a high level operation. Who else could pull off such an operation?

Again look at who gained from 9/11.

As for Bush`s involvement we could take the Michael Moore view that he was just on vacation too much and not involved. Or we could say the dumb act is just an act and he is actually really smart. Whether he was involved or not is not really important. He has no real power. He does what he is told. He works for the Skull and Bones and his daddy. I don`t think he was a mastermind and possibly not even involved. He might even believe it was Bin Laden. I don`t claim to have the answers in most cases just a lot more questions than some people.
