Improvise and make use of what they have here :) I bought a big tumbler from walmart for just $1. My stepdaughter who just moved with us weeks ago asked what it is for because I labeled it for bathroom use only and I explained its for hygiene purposes, hehehe. She thought it was a bit bizarre but I said try it. She did and she said its mroe refreshing, lol. Since its hard for my husband to use it, I bought him baby wipes :) When we travel , I use the ice container in the hotel as my tabo, shhhhhhhhhh, hahaha.

I always have wetwipes with me when we go out just in case. Now my stepsons also use wetwipes for that purpose.

I told my husband that I will teach our son to use TABO than tissue then he said...poor son he needs to bring TABO every where like school just to clean his a---

LOL this is really funny babycris, but your hubby is right  However there are always exceptions, he can't bring tabo anywhere he goes :D Tabo should just stay at home except if he's going for a long vacation he might want to bring one

I should bring tabo then, I might miss it too

My husband kinda got used to my use of tabo since he was in the Phils for 3 months and he saw me use it every time i take a ****. Right now I have a small plastic container by the toilet. We also have babe wipes (we call wet wipes this way. heh!) available under the sink cause I am not satisfied with toilet paper alone.

Ladies, since my Honey has not been to the US yet, this topic was good for our discussion. YES...you can find a tabo in the US! Simply go to your local hardware store or to a discount store, or Dollar Store (if you have one) and you will find cheap little plastic dippers. They are everywhere if you know where to look. Check out WalMart & KMart!

Being a Kano, I was surprised to find tabos hanging all the bathrooms here in the Philippines. I had no idea why they were there, so assumed they were for washing my feet....which I did! NOW, I know the REAL purpose! :-)

I will accommodate my Honey when we get to the US and buy her as many tabos as she likes, but I think I will also install a flexible bidet in our bathrooms. For travel....hmmmm, just get a plastic mug with a handle. Someone suggested a "Big Gulp" cup, that should work nicely!

Sorry, we Americans just rely on toilet paper...now that sounds a little gross to me after nearly a year here. Imagine how I felt when I got here and could not find toilet paper in any public bathrooms! I now carry a large plastic bag with my supply, everywhere I go! :-)

Good luck on your journeys!

It just shows Filipinos are very meticulous when it comes to personal hygiene. Cleanliness really matters to us, it's our tradition and custom like that we can't change which I am proud of. :)

Now, one of the major things I'm going to bring with me to U.S. is the famous T-A-B-O not just one but 2 :P after I read this thread, seriously.
