Is it soon to get the medical done in India ??

FYI:

There was little change in my husband's medical date.. Earlier it was 07/29 and it was changed to 07/26. My husband's medical is done on 07/26 at 8:00 am at Apollo Hospital in Gandhinagar.. It went very well.. Took scanned copy of interview letter, passport size pictures, original passport and copy... Went to the receiption desk asked to fill out some forms. Later went for blood test and found out just need two vaccines and after that went for the X-ray.. He was able to collect the reports at the same time.. 2 sealed reports were given.. All was done in Rs. 2200.

Now waiting for the VFS office visit that is going to be very shortly...:star:

That's great Bani ! So he has done one more milestone to reach you, huh :star: That's pretty cheap $52... We paid around $43 for medical. Are you excited ??? I know you are...

05/07/2012 - DS-3032 COA accepted

05/08/2012 - DS-230 IV Fee $230*2 paid

05/09/2012 - DS-230 IV package mailed to NVC

05/11/2012 - DS-230 IV package received by NVC

05/17/2012 - Case Completed

Consulate

07/02/2012 - VFS visit in Cochin

07/04/2012 - Medical in Chennai

07/12/2012 - Interview in Mumbai - Success!

09/08/2012 - POE at JFK, NY

Yes.. i am glad the medical is over now... I called the VFS office in mumbai about when we can submit the documents.. They told us to submit the documents any time between 12th to 18th Aug at any VFS office..
