Hello, i mailed in the I-129f visa and made the check out to USCIS will this be ok? I also printed the G-325a off of my pc and made the 8 copies for me and my fiance and we signed them all , did i make a mistake by not getting the orinial G-325a (the colored version) or will the black and white copies be ok? I thought the cheque was to be made out to US Department of Homeland Security. Thats what is says in the I-129F instructions.

They'll accept the check either way. Hopefully you signed 4 pages each for the G325a, not 4 copies of the same page. The pages are different.

Yes, it is suppose to be the US Department of Homeland Security and states so on the instructions.

It's a b!tch to fit it on that line tho!

Whether it matters or not seems to have everything to do with the person processing the payment.

sounds like the same dilema i was in??? i had made copies also then realized they have different routing #'s. i re-did the forms, then sent in.

Nevertheless, the devil is often in the details. USCIS knows the difference. Count on it.
