so im waiting around for my NOA2 but i have a question about the financial support part coming up. i understand the requirement is around $18,000 per yer. when my fiance(beneficiary) goes to her interview in ciudad juarez,mexico do i have to give her my income taxes ?? if so for how many years back ?? because i think i read some where its like the last 3 years? if that is so, i made enough money for 2007, i only reported like $6,000 for 2006 because i was working off the books, and in 2005 i reported like $40,000 do you think that 2006 will be a problem?? if so what can i do? i am making around $40,000 this year aswell.

Read the directions very, very carefully. Now, only one year's tax return is required...formerly, it was three years. With the other documents that are required, you shouild be in good shape. She must give your entire package to the embassy upon arriving for her interview.

ok great, so only 2007 taxes is required.......... im much more confident now thank you.
