December of 2008!

My wife has appoiment for September 5, you think that the whole process can be made in two days? 1 for medical and other for the interview?

Thank you for answer..... but I really was looking for someone with the same process like us IR1-CR1.... Im trying to guess how long take to the appointment date since you get your NVC case closed.

But atleast I know the dates are in September now....

Good luck!!

Is your case complete at NVC yet?

I am just starting NVC, and I was looking for the same information. For CR1/IR1 I have read everything from 12-14 months, some said 9-12 months. There were a few posts that said that 2-3 months now that NVC was scheduling the appointments. I hope it's true. Check the link below, it's a thread at I2US, it seems to indicate that the 2-3 month timeline is true. VJ only has a few IR/CR1 for México. The majority are K1 and K3.

Hi!!!

Thank you for the information, I saw it before too, and if that´s true, so we will have our appointment this year!!!

My case is not complete yet... I thought they would close it the last week, but the idiot attornery had a mistake AGAIN!!! so, he will send it the marriage certificate copy (he send a normal copy, they need a certificated copy). I really wish all this process end.

I saw your timeline, its very fast!!! great..... I thnk they are being faster this year, every year, because if you chek dates from 2005-2006, the process took like 2 years or more. Even the process (like mine) from the last year are taking more than one year..... and now I notice that the process for who start it this year is almost like mine, so, that´s great, good for you!!!

We started the process one year ago, and I cant wait so long more, now Im ok, but a few months ago I was very disapointment about this process, I was very depressed, sad, angry. But now I feel I will be with my husband soon, and if the date for the appointment take only 2 or 3 months, so that happen this year!!!!..... oh well, I hope NVC close our cases the next week. I guess we will get the same date for the appointment or very near dates.

Are you who is in Mexico?? or your husband?

Actually, it's my wife who is in México. We are both very happy that things are speeding up. We thought we would be waiting between 18 - 24 months before being together. Now it is looking like it could be before the end of the year.

We knew that going K1 would be the fastest, but that would have left most of her family not being able to attend the wedding. We didn't file K3 because CSC was processing the CR1 just as fast. We are very lucky to have applied at a time when things are speeding up. BUt it's never fast enough.

Hopefully we'll all be at CDJ soon!
