Pretty cool. It's definitely not for me. But still interesting, none the less.

Not for me, either, but I LOVE that show! :) Why did they ask you to do it?? Did you inquire or something? M.

Or the one where they gave up modern life to live on an island in the Shetlands, or somewhere equally remote. Everyone turned out to be such a moaner! Except the Dr - I think. It was a while ago and I don't remember that much about it except there was a lot of moaning!

Mostly over domestic chores...

Which is my big fear if ever society collapsed because us women will be made to go back into 'service' like as not...

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

In the show I saw - they adapted pretty well, but couldn't bring themselves to take the final step and kill their livestock animals for food (they had to bring in a professional butcher to do it). Also the millionaire and his family from California (from a beach front mansion) turned out to be very arrogant and disputed that his family wouldn't survive the winter because they hadn't chopped enough firewood.

ok - that site is very additive! I had to do it twice to make it through the Tough quiz - didn't stop to think when I fell in the ice but got out right away - wrong thing to do according to the site! Then I did all of those geological race tests to get the artifacts - heck, where did the time go!? Kind of fun - I always wanted to do the Pioneer Home or the Regency House projects - two of my favourite time periods and ones I re-enact - but I know for a fact I would NOT like the Alaska quest - don't do well with cold weather at all - lived with it enough years to know that!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I think Idaho is cold enough for me. :jest: I barely survived the June snow this year. But at least there wouldn't be bugs inside my snow cave.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
