need advice on work things, arrived in the US through CR1 visa

Hi!

I come here in the US for CR1 visa, just 3 weeks here. I already got my conditional resident card two weeks after i arrived, it is valid for two years. And in the card, it says, "this person is authorized to work and reside in the US. CAn i work with this card only? Is there other form i need to fill up? I do not receive my social security number and card yet.

Go to your nearest Social Security Office to see how your SSN is going, or if you have to apply for it (sometimes USCIS does not do it for you). Once you get that SSN, you're more than good to go!!!

I guess you can work with that card but u have to get your SSN card first because whenever you applied to a certain company even on-line they will ask for your SSN number.
