Sorry for all the posts today, I am nervous and excited about our interview!

My husband, the USC, is just filling out the I-864. He has a question about the addresses on there for him, the petitioner: should he put the address he currently lives (Dublin, Ireland), or the address we will be at when in the USA, as the affidavit of support comes into force once we actually move? I would assume the US address as the sponsor is supposed to be resident in the US (and husband has domicile there), and the assets we are using (house, bank account) are also US based.

Separate from the above, but also an address question: on previous forms (I-130 etc) we used my husband's sister as US mailing address, but we have now closed on our own house, so would like to change that, as we won't actually need to be staying with the sister. I know there is an online change of address form, but I do not think we can actually use that as we are DCFing. Can I just inform the CO at the interview?

I would like to know the answer too because we put his parents' address on our forms but now have found our own apartment.

Yeah. In our case, we live in Thailand and are now deciding between CR1/IR1 and waiting a year for DCF. We can provide my mother-in-law's address as US domicile. My husband also has stuff in storage (another place) and a bank account.

How much do you need to show to establish US domicile?

Oops I just saw this. On my husband's I-864 form we wrote his Mailing Address (#12) as his address in the States and his Place of Residence (#13) as his address in Australia

That will do nicely. I would simply begin using the latest US address as the applicant's intended US address. You can inform the CO at the interview and then simply do the change officially with USCIS after your arrival. You'll want that green card mailed somewhere it will get to you but either US address will probably do just as well.
