Hi again! Got another question, so yeah we have our AoS all filled out and we just have to get the I-864's notarized and then we can send it in! Just in time too, coz we are going on our honeymoon to Hawaii yey! Hehehe but people keep on asking us if she is allowed to travel in the states, now we do know that she can't leave the country but what's the deal with getting on a plane to travel to a different state? Her K1 Visa says it expires on the 8th of august and we return on the 12th.... Just looking for some peace of mind, at this point thinking has become quite the chore and our brains(mine at least) has just shutdown completely LOL thanks a lot!

First, you need not to have the I-864 notarized. About traveling for the honeymoon, as long as it's within the states, there won't be any problems. :thumbs:

You will be fine as long as you don't stop in another country on your way to/from Hawaii.

Don't worry, you don't even need the passport to fly to Hawaii.

We had our wedding in Hawaii and I just showed my Driver's License and it was ok :thumbs:

05/12/04 => Arrived in the US under L1 status / work visa

03/05/05 => Met the love of my life

07/02/07 => Married my wonderful USC husband

Hi,

My hubby and I went to hawaii after our wedding. We already filed and his student

visa was about to expire. I had the same concerns you did but Hawaii is part of the

50 states. We had no problems so you should be fine!
