Please advise what to write in Question number 21(a)in form DS-230 (If the spouse ,Petitioner is us citizen and already there in US)

Please advise

If you are the only beneficiary (applicant of that DS-230), questions 21a and 21b must be answered NONE.

CSC - I-130 for Parents (IR5)

10/11/2011 - Sent to Chicago Lockbox

10/13/2011 - Delivered at Chicago Lockbox

10/17/2011 - Email received with Receipt#, Routed to CSC

10/18/2011 - Cleared the checks $420*2

10/21/2011 - Received NOA1

03/30/2012 - Received NOA2

05/02/2012 - DS-3032 COA emailed

The instructions state "Mark questions that are Not Applicable with N/A".

Please advise

The instructions state "Mark questions that are Not Applicable with N/A".

This question is applicable and valid, but answer must be NONE since nobody applied with this beneficiary and nobody is following this beneficiary. Also, most of the places N/A or NONE can both be used, but the BLANKS will trigger RFE.

I wrote "uncertain". No RFE - have my appointment scheduled for August.
