I thought I would check in and see how it all went. Keep in mind, this is coming from a person that went through a denial. This does NOT sound like a denial at all. Not one word would lead me to believe it is. It sounds like your typical AP. So take a deep breath and relax. That is one huge hurtle that you and your SO made it over. Pat yourselves on the back and forget about it for a few weeks. Not totally drop the ball, but let your mind go to the future. Its just a matter of time now.

Ok Im in total panic mode right now. The form that Said got is marked 212(a)(5) and was told this is a hard denial. Has anyone else got this?

do you have a copy, if not have him scan one to you and get with chi and let her talk to you and who told him this..............there is a copy on here somewhere of the 221g

ours said return but i will try to find and see what this 5 is

I have a copy but I cant seem to get it on here. The box marked says section 212(a)(5) your case requires additional adminstrative processing. We require nothing further from you at this time. We will contact you by telephone as soon as we are able to continue with your case.

I have not heard about the 212a happening here. The words "additional administrative processing" suggest just that. If it was a hard denial I doubt they would have typed that in. Can you scan and attach it here for us to see? You can black out the personal information. I would email the consulate immediately and express your concern and confusion on this. Don't stress just yet, it could be something so simple. Remain calm and get to the bottom of it.

ours has the return paragraph, the a (1) then a (4) then a blank one that could be filled in with a 5 i guess and something written in does that sound like what u have but other than not a 5 isnt mentioned

well hes a welder and im a cna and they didnt ask for any financial stuff. so im totally lost and confused
