ok I was all content to see this movie in our regular theater.. where it would only cost us about 10 to 12 bucks for both of us to get in... but now I hear how amazing it is to see it in the Imax... and then I found out that part of it is filmed using IMAX cameras.... now I want to see it in Imax... :crying: where it will cost us about 15 bucks each or something...

Marilyn - if you Costco membership, buy your discount tickets there and they will accept them for the Imax theater (be sure to tell them which ones you want - Edwards). For a pair of tickets, I think it's less than $17. :)

oh my gosh.. that movie was so great... although it messes with your brain or something.. my mind was reeling after I left the theater...

and Heath is and forever will be the best Joker

He was very good - but with competition like Jack Nicholson and Cesar Romero he'd have been better just by turning up.

He was ok, but Tim Burton was more interested in the strangeness of the character rather than working him in as a thematic or symbolic element of the movie.

I completely agree with you and your hubby -- if he had not unfortunately passed away, when the Oscar noms come out I wouldn't have been surprised if he got one. Kind of like Forrest Whittaker in The Last King of Scotland -- they were so into the role I forgot who was playing the character.
