HEY AGAIN ,

I WROTE ABOUT MY FRIEND (USC) AND HER HUBBY YESTERDAY. THIS IS SOMETHING NEW THAT SHE HAS DIVULGED. SO HER HUBBY CAME HERE ON K1 VISA AND THEY MARRY WITHIN 90 DAYS. THEY HAD A FIGHT HE HIT HER AND WAS ARRESTED BUT WAS NOT CONVICTED. SHE WORKS AWAY FROM HOME.

SHE BROKE DOWN ON THE PHONE LAST NIGHT , TELLING ME THAT HER HUBBY IS ALWAYS GOING OUT OF TOWN,NO EXPLANATIONS AS TO WHY HE IS GOING. HE WOULD NOT CALL HER WHILE HE IS AWAY AND HIS PHONE IS SWITCHED OFF. SHE WENT ON TO TELL ME THAT HE HAS CHEATED WITH TWO WOMEN ,THAT SHE CAN PROVE. HE CURSED HER AND TELL HER THAT HE TAKES HIS WOMAN INTO HER BED. HE HAS NO RESPECT FOR HER AND DOES NOT HELP HER FINANCIALLY BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WORK.

SHE WAS TOLD BY MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY THAT HE HAD MADE A STATEMENT THAT HE DOESN'T LOVE HER, HE JUST WANNA GET HERE. HOWEVER, SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE DID NOT BELIEVE THEM. ITS CLEAR THAT SHE IS SUFFERING BECAUSE OF THIS MAN'S ACTIONS. I CANNOT IMAGINE WHAT IT MUST FEEL LIKE.

SHE HAS ASKED ME TO FIND OUT WHAT CAN BE DONE AT THIS STAGE? ANY ADVICE/INFO IS HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

JUST TO ADD... HE IS CURRENTLY AWAY FROM HOME WITH ANOTHER WOMAN. HE HAS NOT YET RECEIVED HIS GREEN CARD.

Well I know there are two sides to every story.... but if all that is true... he needs TO GO! That's called abuse and unfortunately it's not unheard of that someone will come just for the visa.

She needs to document absolutely everything she can ...police records... proof of infidelity... etc... If I were here I would make an infopass appointment and talk about the exact steps she needs to take in order to get away from the abuse and perhaps send him back. Otherwise she will be financially responsible for him even if he's not in the house.

I'm moving to a more appropriate forum so that you can receive more help.

HONESTLY, I CAN TELL YOU THAT SHE HAS NOT DONE HIM ANYTHING UNKIND. SHE HAS BEEN FAITHFUL, LOVING , KIND AND EVERYTHING THAT A WIFE COULD BE, HONESTLY! HE DOES NOT WANT TO WORK AND SHE HAS BEEN SUPPORTING HIM SINCE HE GOT HERE. HE USES HER MONEY TO GO ON WEEKENDS WITH HIS WOMAN. ITS QUITE BLATANT THAT HE IS HERE FOR IMMIGRATION BENEFITS AND NOT FOR HIS WIFE. HE IS JUST A USER AND HE NEEDS TO LEARN HIS LESSONS. IF I HAD ANYTHING SAY OVER THIS I WOULD HAVE CALLED THE IMMIGRATION AND HAVE HIM DEPORTED, BUT ITS NOT FOR ME TO DO.

If it was me, I'd close the accounts that he is using and open a new one that he has no access to before all of the money is gone. And quickly make an infopass appt, and/or appt with a divorce lawyer, before he comes back and it gets any worse. She needs all of her documented proof when she goes to any appts.

Agreed - he's a moron and should have NO access to her money.

She should see a divorce lawyer, get a copy of the police report from his arrest (and, after consulting her lawyer, possibly send it to her local USCIS Field Office with a covering letter outlining his abuse), and also speak to the police with regard to her own safety if he is violent.

This a**hole needs to be sent back to his own country ASAP.
