Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Ok Penguin, I will tell you, I was going to wait until the actual visa comes in the mail, but:

We went in, (one of the first), left from home in Buchholz at 12 midnight with Jens parents, got to Frankfurt around 6:00 a.m.,

waited around, got coffee....

Then went in, waited, got called up, given sheet to put papers in correct order, sat back down, paid for visa; (terrible exchange rate by the way if you use Euros), then called up again, papers checked, then sat down again, then actual "Interview" NOT ONE QUESTION ASKED!!! about how we met, etc etc...just about where we will live, and that's it! HE said we should get the VISA within two weeks ...they will send it after they get results of medical. Then he said, "That's it, you're all done!! we have everything we need! Good luck!"

Frankfurt is VERY good, very organized, very friendly. Thank God!

I will post more when the visa actually comes. Take care folks!

Oh, and P.S....thank you ALL for your best wishes and congratulations! Blessings to all...
