not yet eligible for an appointment according to USEM call center

i just called the USEM call center and the agent told me that we're not yet eligible to set for an interview.. is this true..she told me that i MUST wait the letter from the USEM before i call the USEM call center for appointment. i heard before that it's necessarily to wait for the letter to arrive as long as the hard copy of our case is already at the USEM..hahay! ano ba talga..hehhe! maybe im just too excited to knw "when will be" hehhe.

BTW, does anyone have any idea when i'll be eligible to set for an appointment (w/o waiting the letter to arrive). call center agent told me today that they just "load" our case to their system.

Call again on monday, ask first if they already received your papers from NVC. If so, you may then schedule an interview appointment.

Yes, they will LOAD your case to their database for easy access to everyone in their staff.

Regarding USEM.. you don't have to wait for the letter, masyadong late yon dating. Our paper was received at the embassy friday(march 28). we were able to set up interview sched tuesday(april 1) the following week (only becoz it was not possible for my fiance to make the call monday ng week na yon so tuesday siya tumawag). It won't take them long to encode your data it's usually just a day or two. If you want to be on the safe side, make it tuesday or wednesday...and you can then advise your fiance to pay the delbros verification fee and then make the necessary follow up kahit once or twice lang na pangungulit sa delbros just to ensure they do their part and not mess up your DV process.

yep..he grew up in visayan village- tagum . when he was 13 yrs old, his family including my fiancé migrated to US. BTW, i'm from davao city, heheh!

i already paid my doc ver yesterday,hehe! (when i called the USEM hotline d other day, she told me that i can pay my DV to avoid delay, kya bayad agad,hehe!) tues n lng cguro kami tatawag para sigurado, 2 calls n lng kc natira s amin kasi tumawag n kami kanina, max of 3 calls lang kc yong pin:(
