I have recently gotten married and would like to know how I handle getting my wife's name changed in the wonderful world of the USCIS. Do I simply file with her 'new' name on the I-485 and see if they can pick up on it or do I have to kill more trees and fill out some kind of form?

Thanks for the help!

Fill out the I-485 in the name you want on the green card... previous names go in the previous or other names used section

YMMV
