Here's a funny thing... I thought I KNEW that Spanish were the same as Mexican's, right?? wrong!! LOL I have come to find out they are VERY different, even language, is not exactly the same. Spaniards are European and Mexicans have more of a south american influence. I never realized there was much of a difference. I sure am glad to know that difference (namely Marcos)! (wink wink)

I knew a bit about Egypt already before meeting Adam online but once going there and experiencing life there and the culture made what i always heard and read about Egypt come alot more alive... Egypt is a beautiful land

I was born in the same country, but emigrated to Canada (where I was naturalised) as a child, later naturalised to US--so, a lot.

Uh hum... Mexico is in NORTH America and actually isn't influenced from South America since it's so far away from the continent. IMHO, Mexico has it's own rich culture, food, Spanish accent, music, art, entertainment - QUITE unique from any other Latin American country.

Uh hum... Mexico is in NORTH America and actually isn't influenced from South America since it's so far away from the continent. IMHO, Mexico has it's own rich culture, food, Spanish accent, music, art, entertainment - QUITE unique from any other Latin American country.

Using English analogy: Spain is basically like England, while Mexico is like south US and South America is closest to Trinidad/Tobago (note: it is merely coincidental that the geographical analogues I used happen to be closest to the actual Spanish-language locations).
