Influenza vaccination missing

I had my medical well in advance, and at that time I don't think the flu vaccination was necessary... either that or the panel physician who did the exam overlooked it. but it's listed on the medical checklist we received with the interview letter --I think that I should go ahead and get it, just in case, but will it matter that the record of vaccination is not in the sealed envelope with the rest of the medical info, and do I have to have the vacciantion given by the panel physician? (it's just a flu vaccination! and flu season is over...)

Alternately, would they actually refuse me the visa for not having the flu vaccination? It seems a little silly, but at the same time I don't want anything to go wrong during the interview...

I have never heard of having to have the flu shot for immigration purposes. My daughter just went thru the K-2 and AOS process very recently, and didn't require the flu shot for either.

I think I would recheck the letter and make sure it's the flu shot they are asking for and not something else. USCIS might possibly have made it a requirement in the last couple of months.

I just went and checked the paperwork we received from the Consulate, and it says the flu vaccination is only required if you are 65 years or older.

i don't believe it is necessary unless you are in an at risk group (read - senior citizen)

i just had my medical last week and wasn't asked about it at all.

Flu vaccines aren't even available right now and won't be until October or so...

And it's only required for those individuals over the age of 50... and only during flu season...
