I handle everything but the grill... it scares me. Stupid, maybe. But I have a distinct fear of getting burned.

i would do the grill, but i'd use twice the amount of charcoal he uses and cook slowlu, so it would actually be cooked inside. But I doubt hubster would let me since he's cheap and prefer to eat raw meat just to save charcoal.

I dislike using charcoal. Anytime I let someone else do it I end up getting some meat that tastes like lighter fluid. We stick to gas at our house. We have an outdoor kitchen area with a stove and stuff so the gas line is already out there.

:P sticks and stones... long hair+ hair products+ open flame= bald me (not cute) :jest:

lol.... last summer I was lighting our gas BBQ and I couldn't get it lit and the gas was on a little too long so that when it finally lit there was a huge gas ball thing... I singed my eyebrows and eye lashes and part of my hair :lol:

Did not vote: I say it's the person constantly checking the grill making sure the meat is cooking to perfection!!!!!! Thought this was funny as I just lit tha grill and am in the process of grilling chicken.

Can't vote...we both cook...on the stove...in the oven. It seems to work out that we both cook about the same, neither one of us cooks more than the other. We actually prefer to be in the kitchen together. :D

When he first came here, he cooked and taught me how to make Jamaican food. Then as soon as I was up to speed...he stopped. Every once in a while he will cook, when I am just too pooped to do it.
