I-485 Question

Hello,

We've got all of our paperwork together...and now we're trying to send it off. I'm reading through the I-485 instructions right now...and it keeps mentioning "if you're filing in conjunction with an I-140 or you're filing the I-485 and I-140 separately"...I'm confused. These seem like the only two options...and the I-140 isn't listed in the AOS guide as something we need. So...where do we mail this thing? Argh...

The I-140 is if are adjusting status from a worker's visa and has no relevance to family based AOS.

So does that mean we send it do that address that says "without I-140 if you have sent it separately" ?

I just don't want to send it to the wrong place.

I-140 is only mentioned under Employment Based Applications. Since you're sponsoring your husband you should be looking under Family Based Applications.
