why does it seem the mena women aren't let's say the prettiest girl on the block? What reason do they have for finding men half way aound the world? (will this get a fight started?)

and much older than their SO

ps plus one mena woman is at least 30 years older than her husband and he is her fourth husband

wow, I thought you only told ME that secret. YOU said that YOU didn't want MENA to know that your husband just turned 18. (and I thought we had bonded) :crying:

That won't start a fight. It just hurt my feelings :hehe:

LOL...my hubby is 24...but still i'm not 30 years older... or divorced four times over

Wow that was close. Thought a fight was going to break out between Amal and Married. Guess no one really is up to fighting these days. :dance:We are a peace loving tree hugging bunch.

ok, ill hop into this really late. I am a pretty woman and I will be 45 Friday and proud of it. I am divorced and have three daughters, 20, 13, and 7. I have never lacked for an offer of dates I am just not interested in them.

I went looking for a man who was interested in me for my intelligence, conversation, and not for my looks. It seems to me that all american men want is to hop in the bed. If I want that I can just go to the club and find a man for the nite. I went overseas because their morals and what they look for in a life companion are different from here and also because they do look for a life companion not just someone to spend a few years with and get rid of when they are tired of them or when something better comes along.

yes he is 9 years younger, but i have always liked younger men. He is only a few months younger than my last daughters father.

as long as you think so  i don't care ... answer this ... why have i not earned a red heart yet

Because your pissy that no one finds your April Fools joke funny?

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

ty for letting us know we WERE wondering that very thing...watch that door

Interesting you'd show up. I'm not surprised.

You know, brnidokiegurl, I stayed around here a long time - nearly 4 years. I stayed because I became interested in the process; I stayed because I understood it and accepted it without blaming it; I stayed because I thought I could help others who were struggling; and I stayed because I loved seeing the result of happy reunions.

But I also stayed as long as I did to see all my friends through their process. The ones who filed around the same time I did, but not necessarily in the same month nor at the same consulate. Many were from the UK - the first member I ever PM'd had a UK boyfriend and they just finished his journey late last year.

But, one of my dearest friends was and is a MENA girl. I stuck around so as not to abandon her as she had been by so many of her other 'friends'. Odd word, that - friend. Not a label we should sling around loosely, you know.

Friends have class. They might not see eye to eye at times, but they don't dig each others eyeballs out and then use the excuse of 'family' as an out.

My friend knows who she is. And she's got more class than you or yours could ever hope to have.

Easy answer. You ...Don't ....Post ....Enough.

Another :star: for me.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
